As early application decisions (ED/REA) are gradually being released, this year’s application season has officially completed its first phase.

First, congratulations to all the students who have successfully received offers. This is not luck—it is the result of four years of perseverance in your GPA, SATs, research, and extracurricular activities. At the same time, we would like to sincerely thank every parent for your trust and support throughout this journey. You have worked incredibly hard as well.

To those who have not yet received an acceptance or who were deferred: keep your head up! Don’t be discouraged, and don’t doubt yourself. The application journey has really only just begun—what you’ve seen so far is merely the first 10%. EA/ED is only the prelude; RD is the true battlefield ahead.

Proverbs 16:9 says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Although we do not adhere to any particular faith, we still believe that after all the effort you have put in, you will ultimately be recognized by the school that is truly the best fit for you.

At this critical moment of preparing for RD, we encourage both students and parents to spend some time on A. LEAGUE’s IG or Facebook pages to carefully read every full acceptance letter we have shared. You will discover that:

1. These letters contain the answers universities truly care about.
Don’t just look at the logos—read the words. What specific qualities do admissions officers praise in these letters? Academic passion? Contributions to the community? These concrete details are invaluable insights that can help you find a clearer and more aligned direction for your RD essays.

2. They give students the confidence to believe that dreams can come true.
By reading these real letters, we hope you realize that those seemingly unattainable top universities are places real students have reached. Those students were once just as anxious and just as hardworking as you are now. If they could do it, so can you.
