Graduate Management Admission Test， 簡稱GMAT，是一項針對申請商學院研究所的標準化考試，

著重於測試應試者在一般商務環境中的理解、分析與表達能力。

GMAT由管理專業研究生入學考試委員會GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council)制定的考試，

並由Educational Testing Service (ETS) 在全球110多國舉辦考試，採用英語為語言介面。

 

雖然是針對美國各商學院而制定的測驗，近年來包含歐洲與亞太地區內眾多國家的商學院

也要求提供有效GMAT成績。儘管GRE考試也被大多數商學院接受，GMAT仍是MBA申請人的第一選擇。

GMAT測驗四部分，分別是計量 (Quantitative Reasoning) 、

語文 (Verbal Reasoning)和綜合推理 (Integrated Reasoning)。

分析寫作 (Analytical Writing)是另外計分，滿分為6分，必須由專人批改，

約5-7天後會透過郵件收到score report。考試滿分為800，成績有效5年。

 

計量測驗 Quantitative Reasoning 共31題，62分鐘作答時間。

測驗內容分兩種：

1. 問題求解 (Problem-solving) ：含數學推斷及解決數學問題的能力

2. 數據充分性判斷 (Data-sufficiency) ：每道題目都包含一名題和兩個句子，應試者需要判斷句子中給出的數據是否足以解答名題。

 

語文測驗 Verbal Reasoning 共36題，65分鐘作答時間

測驗內容分三種：

1. 閱讀理解 (Reading Comprehension)：包含說明性、應用性和推理性問題。內容涉及社科、理科及商科相關領域。

2. 評判性邏輯推理 (Critical Reasoning)：針對論據、評判論據及闡述或判斷一項行動計畫方面的推理能力。

3. 句子改錯 (Sentence Correction)：從五個答案選項中選出確切表達觀點或是關係的句子。

 

分析寫作Analytical Writing 共1題，共30分鐘作答時間

測驗內容為論證分析 (Analysis of an Argument)：分析論證背後的推理和假設，然後對該論證提出批判性評價。

 

綜合推理 Integrated Reasoning 共12題，共30分鐘作答時間

測驗內容包含針對統計數據、圖表、試算表等進行判斷，包含了各類型的分析資料和統計。

考試時間長達將近4小時，中間休息兩次各8分鐘。Quantitative 和 Verbal ，

每一題都有5個答案選項，為降低可以亂猜對答案的機率。

 

考試費用為$250美元，大約新台幣$7500。

 

從2013年到2015來看，平均達到710分或以上的人只有全球前10%的應試者，

達到650分或以上的為全球前25%，而50%左右的應試者分數大多落在580分。
